Purchased through mitre 10. Would be a great box for the price, but the plastic back door on the screws tore out almost immediately as I was installing. Not sure why this isn't a folded piece of galv steel with some all thread and nylock nuts, considering the rest of the box is constructed from folded galv steel sheet. Will be replacing the door myself as not interested in replacing with same. ***Hi Cameron - this doesn't sound like our normal door behaviour! Unlocked, mail falls straight out of this box. In wind the door flaps. Posties know these boxes and deliver letters half poking out of the slot. Locked, moderate sized parcels cannot be delivered. Magnets fix these issues and make them fabulous.

Stylish and mail is kept safe

We have one of these, now 14 years old. Looks good, however water has got into the back flap and it is delaminating. Make sure to keep the non aluminium parts well sealed to prevent this. Stupid design. Box not deep enough especially for Herald. With bottom opening contents fall out to the ground. U.S. ***Hi Stephen - thanks for your feedback. The Wall-mounted model is a slimline design suited to narrow driveways. Our Designer model has a roomier capacity if you expect larger deliveries.
